Matt F. Summers, 71 a former Montgomery County farmer who was employed in the tank department of the Presto - Lite Co. of Speedway City from 1926 until 1946, died early Monday monring at his home in Jamestown. Born March 13, 1861 in Montgomery County, Mr. summers was the son of Henry M. and Ann Summers. He married Della Clossin Feb 2, 1902. He was a 26 - year member of the Christian Church and 40 - year member of K of P Lodge. Surviving are the widow; a son, Lawrence Summers, Elwood; three daughters, Mrs. Lester Reed, Crawfordsville, Mrs. Dorman Richardson Indianpaolis and Mrs. Earl Pratt, Gosport; a brother, Robert Summers, Whitesville; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother and two half - sisters. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wed from Jamestown Christian Church with burial at Jamestown IOOF Cemetery. Warren Robbins will be the officiating minister. Friends may call at the Kenneth Walker Funeral Home at Jamestown.
